This tubing is specially made tubing for the Humphrey ADE system for all patients up to 100 Kg. (Use 22mm smooth bore tubing Part No AQ5613 for patients over 100kg.)
This is a SMOOTH BORE tube which is easy to breathe through. It is four times easier to breathe through than the same size corrugated tube (corrugations cause significant turbulance and increased resistance to breathing).
Smooth bore tubes are much eaiser to clean as there are no corrugations that accumulate dirt and infected material. After cleaning, hang up and all remaing liquid drains easily.
WARNING: For the above reasons DO NOT USE OTHER TUBES WITH THE ADE-CIRCLE SYSTEM. Function may be affected.
